Participant Opportunities

Background: JCOS & COMBA are partnering in a trail project on Middle Longhorn Trail to enhance visitor experience, and improve drainage. Work will consist of adding new bike features, and optimizing current bike features. The project will also involve improving drainage on the trail. Special COVID-19 guidelines* To minimize community contact we will not be providing water or gloves, so please bring at least 1 liter of water and a pair of suitable work gloves. You are also required to bring your own facemask. REQUIREMENTS: Bring a mask Masks are suggested when volunteers cannot separate themselves by more than 20ft Bring hand sanitizer Social distance yourself from your fellow volunteer Be in good physical condition Be able to use a variety of tools, including shovels, picks and rakes Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian Be prepared for numerous and changing environmental conditions
