Please meet us at TrailMark Park (8490 W Trailmark Pkwy, Littleton, CO 80127) DESCRIPTION: Jefferson County Open Space held a trail maintenance day a month before, so we will be touching up any of their work and then will keep going from where they left off. This will be light maintenance, mostly just using picks, mcleods, and shovels to clear out existing drainage on the trail. There may be some need to cut back vegetation on the sides of the trail. All tools will be provided. If you would like to meet us at 5:00, you can still sign up for the event and find us on trail. REQUIREMENTS: Be in good physical condition Be able to use a variety of tools, including shovels, picks and rakes Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian Be prepared for numerous and changing environmental conditions WHAT TO BRING & WEAR: Closed-toe, sturdy shoes are required. No open-toed shoes or sandals of any kind will be allowed. Work gloves Plenty of water (2 quarts minimum) Rain gear Sunscreen and insect repellent A day pack
