Join our biggest volunteer day yet! Help keep the canyon clean and safe. Activities include stream bank and roadside trash collection, erosion control, habitat restoration, and a celebration with food and music at the conclusion of the project. National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest single-day volunteer effort. It celebrates the connection between people and open space in their community, inspires environmental stewardship, and encourages use of your public lands for education, recreation, and general health. WHAT TO BRING & WEAR: Help us in our effort to create as little waste as possible by bringing your own cup for coffee and refreshments Closed-toe, sturdy shoes are required. No open-toed shoes or sandals of any kind will be allowed. Long pants (we will be working in rattle snake habitat) Work gloves Plenty of water (2 quarts minimum) Rain gear Sunscreen and insect repellent A day pack
