Help Maintain Climbing Access Trails! BACKGROUND: This year Jefferson County Open Space will host several small scale Saturday projects at a handful of our parks, through October focused solely on climbing access trails. Locations for some of these projects are subject to change depending on our work flow throughout the year. The forecast can be unpredictable this time of year so this event will go forward weather permitting. Jefferson County Open Space will host volunteer workdays the 4th Saturday of each month through October in an effort to engage volunteers in maintaining popular climbing access routes. Work will include light trail maintenance and rock work, in an effort to provide sustainable grade through areas that have historically been prone to erosion.
