Participant Opportunities

Volunteers will remove invasive weeds, seed and rehabilitate disturbed areas, transplant native grasses and shrubs, and place materials and signage to discourage unauthorized use. Please meet at 07:30am here: https://goo.gl/maps/nm1QYEbiHUsterCj7 If Carpooling, please confirm with Shelby that you are utilizing the shuttle at [email protected] REQUIREMENTS: Be in good physical condition Be able to use a variety of tools, including shovels, picks and rakes Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian Be prepared for numerous and changing environmental conditions WHAT TO BRING & WEAR: Closed-toe, sturdy shoes are required. No open-toed shoes or sandals of any kind will be allowed. Work gloves Plenty of water (2 quarts minimum) Rain gear Sunscreen and insect repellent A day pack
