Take care of the trails you use and love! Volunteers will maintain trail features and cut back vegetation. No prior experience is necessary, and new volunteers will be provided training by staff or veteran volunteers. The Kilian Jornet Foundation has graciously offered to feed our volunteers for this event! Sandwiches from Snarfs will be provided along with chips and drinks. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. As this is an outdoor activity, please dress in appropriate layers for the weather. WHAT TO BRING & WEAR: Closed-toed shoes are required (no sandals) Long pants and a hat are recommended Your own sack lunch + any snacks you may need Work gloves if you have them (we will have extras as well) 2+ liters of water Rain gear Sunscreen, insect repellent, any required medications A day pack (to hold all of the above) Please consider carpooling. We will be bringing tools and staff to the project site, so knowing our numbers is important.
