Participant Opportunities

Volunteers will remove invasive weeds, seed and rehabilitate disturbed areas, transplant native grasses and shrubs, and place materials and signage to discourage unauthorized use. Please meet at Crown Hill Park here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/VTNbySgBjuuo1thz6 REQUIREMENTS: Be in good physical condition Be able to use a variety of tools, including shovels, picks and rakes Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian Be prepared for numerous and changing environmental conditions WHAT TO BRING & WEAR: Closed-toe, sturdy shoes are required. No open-toed shoes or sandals of any kind will be allowed. Work gloves Plenty of water (2 quarts minimum) Rain gear Sunscreen and insect repellent A day pack
