Location: Meet at Tony Grampsas Park: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Ybod5uPFMVUvx2es6 Altra will be demoing shoes, and a free pair will be raffled off at the end of the event. Background: Volunteers will perform light maintenance work on the Lithic Trail. We'll improve drainage to prevent erosion and look for any invasive or overgrown vegetation to manage. Partners and family members are welcome to join; please just enter the total number in your party when you register. REQUIREMENTS: Be in good physical condition for hiking. WHAT TO BRING & WEAR: Closed-toe, sturdy shoes are required. No open-toed shoes or sandals of any kind will be allowed. Work gloves Any water/snacks you need Weather-appropriate gear Sunscreen Please bring your own gloves if you have them, but we will have extras. Extra sets of pruners can be useful.
